Can you ask in staff forums if some users with dreamlink HD units can test file 120?
The file is working fine for me...but anther user got invallid firm ware then he tried again and got it to work but had missing channels bad signal locks and lotz of bouncing signal metters.
please keep file just to staff for now, until we weed threw this.

I think that since the new look on the T5, there was enough complaint so they decided to add that to the old model.

My plumber tried this file early this morning and likes it.

EPG looks like it should or at least what we are familiar with.
Info button works nice while in the guide.
Also he said when he hits the EPG button while in the guide it went out 3 days in 10 minutes.
He never had this work before and was putting up with a 2 hr EPG.

Says he is going to put it on a few more now.

i just loaded it and factory. i do not see major change with epeg automatically. just 2 hours of epeg. do i need to press yellow botton each time i want to extend days of epeg?.

106 is a factory file and that version won't show after loading 3rd party bin
and this is the hd section not t5 section

Yeah I was surprised as well when I saw it. A lot of peeps questioned it when it got posted and as a result it got moderated on some sites till staff and some non staff tested it.
It works good so give it a go.

It was moderted here because dreamlink wanted to pull the file to do more testing here but it was too late

lol, Well i guess the beta tester was happy enough to release it.

Not such a bad thing though, now the DL team can work on it more thru public testers.

What would be nice is if they had it save the EPG info for two providers to a USB drive.
As it is right now if you switch from one to the other you lose it all and your back to 2hrs.

But I like what they did so no real complaints here.

what a joke, the only way I can go to a different server in the menu is to change my "SERVER: text file to "1" and replace the old PS with a "0" then reload the CHLIST-S back to the box..... the menu system with this box is very Crappy!!!
I need to get another box, but I'm sure it won't be a T5. I'm sure that box has the same bullcrap menu... "

i know i need patience for epg to load with 120,because we have to wait for 10 mn at least. i hope there will be a bin that populate epg in a one minute or two. frankly, i do not want to be negatif, but for me 120 is not much more diffrent than 119. thanks dreamlink.

The one big difference is that you do not have to go to channel to read full info, now available via epg..........

Yes, its been over a year now for me that I own the DL HD v4 receiver.
After this new 120 bin, this receiver is perfect.
Maybe the only thing missing are logos of the networks on the side but that is nothing major.

I'm happy with the new EPG..Still cant get more than a couple hours...but..One thing would be nice if they could fix....when in your EPG...if you could input a channel number..and it will go to that channel IN THE EPG.....just to see whats on the other channel..not actually change to that channel...then press Ok again to tune into that channel..just my $0.02....Great job dreamlink!!!..cheers all..

Yup don't need a work around, just a updated file for the T5 to address a couple awkward functions.
