View Full Version : Nfusion HD Wiring and File Question

Here is my current setup...

Legit BEV subscription wired from 82/91 via SW44 switch to a Bell HD receiver in my living room (watch for locals)
DN P$ wired from 110/119/129 via 4x1 switch to an NFusion HD running with Goo3 also in my living room (for experimenting)

I wanted to try feeding both BEV and DN signal to the NFusion to use with a DN/BEV P$

Is there a way to simply ad a some sort of switch (2x1?) near the receivers and combine the single cable (from the 110/119/129) and the single cable (from 82/91) into one cable going into the NFusion HD?

All I know for sure at the time is that I need to change the file on the Nfusion HD from the 27f to the 24f or 25f (is 25f better than 24f?)

Any suggestions or people that have similar setups? End result being I want Nfusion HD seeing signal from (110/119/129/91/82)...without having to rewire my entire system.

Also, for someone with experience, does the Nfusion HD get along well with a SW44 switch? I know my Viewsat HD at my rental does not like it too much (I have to turn lnb power on/off if I go from an hd channel to an SD channel and vise versa)

Thanks

You can use a 22k tone switch to combine the two feeds.

They are like a 2x1 switch eh? I am guessing that the 110/119/129 feed would go 22k ON and the 91/82 would go in the 22k OFF. Than a single cable out to receiver in.

What would I do when scanning the channels with the Nfusion HD? The appropriate banner will pop up when I play with different settings? eg, say port 2 22k on would bring up my 119, and port 2 22k off would bring in my 82?

I should ask in advance...The DN birds are going through a high quality BAFF 4x1 switch...the BEV legit setup is going from a SW44 switch...would I simply use the above setup? ie the out coming from my BAFF 4x1 switch to the 22k ON for 110/119/129 and one of the outs from the sw44 switch into the 22k OFF for 91/82, than receiver out off 22k switch to receiver. Than hopefully things work out when I scan. And hopefully this setup gets along with the SW44.

I just need to find a 22k switch locally vs ordering one online

I have an old eagle 3x4 multiswitch...could that be of any use in this scenario?

Some more info on my current setup...The wall penetrations for my house are 4 lines from BEV 91/82 setup going to SW44 indoors. Than out to my legit BEV receivers (only using 2)...The other two penetrations are 1 spare, and the line from my 4x1 diseqc (from 110/119/129) directly to my FTA receiver.

No use using a 3x4 multiswitch. That switch only works for 1 satellite in to 4 receivers out. Try the 22 Khz switch as previously suggested with 91 & 82 on the off side
