Can one plugin in usb Flash drive in Fat32 format with video files on it to usb port on Pinwheel..
Will the file play on Pinwheel ?
Or need I format the flash drive and re-copy the files to it in order for it to play the video file ?
For I see in the guide one must format the drive in order to record anything.
What does Pinwheel format the flash drive to ? NTSC format ? or Linux format ? or Fat32 format ?
Thanks

Most of the USB flash drive I have used on the Pinwheel HD Mini in front and back don't seem to mount/work, so I can upload or read file.
You know if there is a maximum flash drive capacity
which Pinwheel HD mini can accept ?
I used Kingston (1 gig. flash drive) and Lexar(16 gigs flash drive).
They both don't work. I would like to make use of these flash drives so I can play media files like mp3s and videos copied to them.
The only flash drive which work is Micro Core
2 gigabyte flash drive. It was originally format in Fat32.
So I don't understasnd why this brand would work but not others I tried.
I heard from someone to format in .ext 2 or ext 3 so it may work? Is that mean I have to have a computer with Linux O.S. format in order to format.
I tried to format on Windows xp. It only formats in Fat32.
If I format on Pinwheel HD MIni, so it will record video files, will this format be readable on Windows xp computer itself ? What extension format is the videos recorded as
on the flash drive ?
Thanks
