EPG for HD T5

The T5 user manual says that EPS is supported for 7 days. I only see a bout 2 hours. Is there a way that we can set it up for 7 days? or do I need to wait for a new 7 days EPG bin?

Well, if you press guide and then the yellow button it will change to ch 239 and tell you to wait. Leave it there, without changing the channel for about 10-15 minutes and you'll get a good EPG. I haven't seen it for 7 days but for 2 or 3 days yes with the DL receivers. Good luck,

Well, I get 7 days of epg by doing the same as vampirito with one addition : Once I am on 239 I then navigate to the HBO channel 303 and stay there while watching 239.

try, north 1199 or 199,works great 30 sec.

The T5 gets a great length of EPG on both north and south, quite impressed with the unit overall.

Here is a handy tip for those that don't know...

The recall button shows a list as well, not just last channel. Press recall twice for list. :thumbsup:

That feature is available on the DLHD as well.

I think its a good tip to put out there for new DL users overall.

Was a little disappointed (as a nfl football junky) with it just going back to previous channel.

MUCH happier now.

Sat 119 has both 44hr and 9-day
44hr on TP19 - Channels 200 202 303 320 394
9-day on TP18 - Channels 154 146 148 418 424 427 436 438 440 452 470 475

Sat 129 has an HD EPG on TP 20
254 386 9450 9464 9474 9501 9512 9531
and an SD 44hr EPG on TP 21
9405 9406 9599 9621 9622

There were more channels but I limited this to what I believe most folks will actually get

For North......

After many frustrating tries, I found that channel 1050, which is an epg channel gets best and fastest results. Withing seconds, I was able to get a few days worth of epg.

setanta , channel 420 on north , will get you at least 4 days epg

panmanzaa provided a better Bev epg on 1199 and easier to remember. The epg comes in much faster.

Well I just received mine and set it up today. I gotta tell ya, I'm very happy with it and that's coming from someone who also has a SVHD. Thanks for all the help and info guys.

Just one more thing. Been trying to get a complete guide for north with not a total success then I tryed channel 1202 or 202 depending on your setup and it works great for me. Got at least 3 days so far with no misses.

any one know how to sort numeric channel sort. For example when you press 5 on the remote and it show a drop down the 500 list and also how do you extend the extra second when you use the number key pad on the remote.
