I just picked up a new never used Bev dish it has 2 lnb's and according to the plastic piecee on the end it say 91% and 82% it also has the adjustable rotation,

can this dish with the right rotation get 110 and 119 or will it need a different plastic adaapter on the end to hold the lnb's??

iif it will work what the approximate rotation setting?

thanks for any and all help

Should work just fine. Both 82/91 and 110/119 are 9 degrees apart. If you lived in the lower 48 I could tell you exactly. But I assuming you live up north so check the link below for the settings for your location. Put in your location and then select Multi - LNB Setups: and from that list select dish500. Should get you the settings you need.

so will the one marked 91 be my 110 or 119??
and whats the correct aiming??
find 110 first and then change the skew to find 119 or vice versa??

thanks

so with the skew set to 0" what do you do, find 119 and use the skew to find 110 as well or the other way around,?
I have never setup one these dishes with skew setting

Thanks

Try getting lock with the LNB that is positioned closest to the center of the dish. Once you have lock, it should be just a matter a adjusting the skew and you should get lock on your second sat.

thats why I am asking both lnbs are equidistant from the centre of the dish, so I dont know how to do that

Go to Dsihpointer.com, enter you location, then select 110/119 in the Multi LNB setup and zoom into your location, then click on where the dish will be located.

This will give you a line pointing at the satellites, and the correct elevation and skew for your dish.

When pointing a 2 satellite setup you will be pointing the center of the dish in-between the two satellites, use TP 12457R to find and lock on 119, and TP12224 to find 110 by skewing the dish.
