I have dlhd , it keeps losing connection to the server. I have switched cables around , checked connections and it still loses connection. It don't matter if I am watchin hd or sd it just gives me scramble channel after a minute . Is it time for a new one ? My router died yesterday too. Now on the bright side my other box a T4 is workin fine no problems. Just my dlhd loses connection and the server I am using isn't reporting any major problems with connections at the moment. Any thoughts anyone .

I changed it to static and saved the settings. As soon as I plug in the sonicveiw the dlhd still loses connection. What do I do now.

Static will allow you to set your address for the router. DHCP will have the router assign one for it. Make sure to use an address in the range of the router. For example if the router uses 192.168.1.1 to 192.168.1.149 then you can use anything in between like 192.168.142 or what ever is allowed. There should be a range in the router set up page. You can also assign another DNS IP in the static setting like 4.4.8.8 That may help also.

how do I get in my router. It is a d-link n300 .I had a n600 and didn't have this problem. Another thing that bothers me is the fact that the last router only lasted 58 days. can any one help me?
