i have a nano receiver.we had a power bump and now theco axe cable that goes upstairs has no sound ,just static.it is the receiver and not the cable or tv.any ideas

wont be the coax but if using rca plugs check red and white cables sometimes works just unplugging them and plugging them back in or just reboot receiver from front then rear switch....

tried all that.its the place where the co axe cable plugs in,would a factory reset help

that might help ... also try swapping out switches
