enter info, use red button to save entry. once pushed red button, hit exit. you will not get a confirmation of the information being saved. continue for all fields, once done, click connect. if connects, all is good. once you get that, hit exit, then in the server screen change the server you entered from off, it will show the ip address in that section now.

Just got my neighbor up with T5... I encountered exactly what you are saying .... I initially thought something was wrong because the info you type in changes to ******, but followed these steps and it's all good.

NOTE: Each time you type in a setting you will only see *********** after you hit EXIT as it hides the information!

Name or IP...after done push exit.
Ports....when done push arrow down on remote directional pad.
Username ...after your done press exit. Password...after done press exit.
Des Key..after done press exit. Now press exit again and make sure your private server is on.
You can scroll up and down within your complete PS list and hit the direction left and right buttons on the remote to toggle PS on and off…Press exit again and you will see a box pop up and it will tell you which servers are connected. It will say Network is Connected (1)(2) if you have 2 activated. Exit out if connected.
