Practically all remotes have channels on the right and same kind of button on the left is volume, only one I know that is not, is the Linkbox, the buttons are too closely spaced left to right, larger finger have a problem, the remote is much narrower than most others. I have learned to use it, but it always is a nuisance when using two different remotes and they are not similar--Floep--

The Pansat u-30 or u-50 uhf remotes will also work with these receivers.

even if the linkbox is not in logitech's database you can clone your original linkbox remote to a harmony

if talking about a logitech remote than yes it can be programmed to turn on/off and most logitech remotes can support up to 16 devices
