But not sure I totally understand

Each NFL team plays 16 games out of 17 weeks in the NFL schedule.
The game that they don't play is called their bye week, or "Open Date".
It is important in fantasy football to make sure that your starters and backups
do not have the same bye week since one of the primary reasons for drafting backup players
to have coverage during the bye week of your starter.

I meant no disrespect or offence DU Just trying to help some of the pool participants out. I would do it for anyone as long as it was with in the rules. I hate to see some one with say, Internet connection issues/logon issues or the like not getting in. So that’s why the offer went out as it says in the rules. Of course I have no idea why they where late. But if I could help them the next time I thought that I would offer.

There aren’t three people running the pool. TGL and I are helping Costa out. . He like the rest of us has a very busy life so we stepped up to help out. Final say on everything has and always will be Costa’s.

I know that I speak for everyone involved that we want you in the pool. You’ve been a part of it and you a great competitor. And it wouldn’t be the same with out you and your input. If you think that a mistake has or is made, or the rules are not being followed just bring it to Costa’s attention and he’ll sort it out and fixed it. We’re all here to have fun (with in the rules of course) and hope you’ll reconsider.

I reread all the posts again and I guess I didn’t make it clear what I was offering and I apologies for that. I was offering anyone that would have trouble posting their “bets” in the future on time that they could contact one of us to help. Again it was an offer going forward into the future not for this weeks pool. Maybe they are going to be away or some other pressing issue. But in no way would I or was I overruling Costa and his final ruling. He’s the boss and this is his show. Again I’m am apologies for any misunderstanding.

As in the past when I used to run this pool with Buford we would always allow Sunday picks past the deadline if their was an early game, that will continue. Of course the early game would not be given credit to a late poster. I applaud the efforts of both TLG and Nigh_Predator for helping me out as this can be quite time consuming. If you choose no longer to participate DU then that is your choice but we are doing this to have a bit of fun and competition, the pool wouldn't be the same without you and the last time I looked your not far from the top of the standings. I just wish everybody would take a chill pill and sit back and relax and enjoy as we still have another 12 weeks to go. ARE YOU READY FOR SOME FOOTBALL?
