The mods should consider adding an X2 premium forum.
it is a great box, not expensive and most of all very good support: 2 new files in this month only !
every new file brings new improvement to the box: iptv, movies, google map, etc.
it is an FTA box but can run IKS also (no turbo channels).

I have just bought X2 premium and will arrive next week. What files do I need to get this unit configured for 110, 118.8 and 119. I have FishTV membership from Kbox which i plan to use. would greatly appreciate if some could send recent files or direct me to the location.

I have 2 x2 receivers for true fta. The fastest blind scan and the most sensitive tuner on the market. Excellent support as well.

Network setting in the Setup menu. I've never attempted iks on this receiver and never will. Also, most new fw I have seen for North America is for true fta.

on a regular channel hit 6969 on the remote,it will then have a popup saying patch enabled.
The iks menu then appears in the main menus.To use the channel database editor via rs232 the rs232 setting has to be set to debug.The default is twin.That also only appears after having hit 6969 previously.
All x2 firmware has the hacker stuff,it is just hidden on the north american releases.

I just got my x2 premium. Trying to set it up. My dish is pointing to 110 118.8 and 119.It is not as easy as I thought. pressed 6969 on regular channel it came back with patch disabled. I scanned the different satellite. Could not get any channel on 118.8. got channels on 110 but all channels show scambled channel. Would appreciate if you can please help me to set up this box. I have loaded nov-6th FW.

on my old box I use fishTV iks. would like to know how to enter FISHTV info.

If you scan true fta sats you will get all open channels. As I stated previously, the fastest and most sensitive blind scan I have ever tested.

they used to post euro firmware on their website but I don't see it anymore.
At least in the old days you could get into the ftp site and grab it that way.

nov6th was supposed to get the n2 radio channels on 97w but wang lied.

Anyone know how to get the X2 Premium Editor to work? My com port is working properly with other sat boxes, using Channel Master, but I couldn't get X2 Premium Editor to work with my X2 Premium HD II. Does anybody know of another program that may work with this receiver? THANKS!
