AMC Freezing Bad (for Breaking Bad)...

Trying to watch AMC is almost impossible today...

Its going to suck for tonights grand finale unless something changes!!!

Hope the folks at NFPS have ahold of this...?

Maybe the issue was 10.5 million viewers ?.....one of the most watched series ever.

Well... I don't know about the best show ever? But I would certainly say its in the top 5! As far as series finales go... I can't think of anything else that even came close.

I knew the market share for that night would be high. Before hand they estimated it at 12.5M viewers. The 10.5 seems low (seeing as the episode before did 12M. Something else to consider... I don't think they track the people that Tivo/DVR shows (yet). I know a few folks that don't have AMC, but they get it the next day on Amazon. My brother refused to read my emails or take my calls until he got to stream it on Monday... LOL! I also read an article on Wednesday that said torrent sites set a record of 500K D/Ls of the show on Monday. Of course that doesn't get added to the total... LOL!

I happened to be in SoCal that night and the hot ticket was for the Talking Bad event after the airing of Breaking Bad. They had big screens set up in the Hollywood Forever cemetery. The cast watched the episode with all the lucky fans and then they did the hour Q&A show after. If you haven't seen it (Talking Bad finale) its well worth seeing. I have a copy of it in my DropBox public folder if anyone is interested. Here's the link...

Just change the hxxps to https at the front of the web address (because this site has a rule against live links) and it will ask if you want to save the file (>300m in MP4 format). I think if you choose open file instead it will stream to your PC (or other device). Hope somebody enjoys seeing it.

When I posted this (OP), it was during the afternoon marathon. I was concerned that if we were getting freezing at that point it would be real bad during the finale. I'm sure glad that all 10.5M viewers don't depend on NFPS or we would have been screwed... LOL!

Anyway... killer series and a phenomenal grand finale...!!!
