i just bought a videopath multi dish switch model sw44 without the powerinserter from ebay,so my question is can i hook up using three seperate dishes one to 119,one to 110 and one to 91 also using three legacy lnb's,can i just hook 119 to
1b,110 to 1a and 91 to 2b without using the power inserter,i want to use the switch to connect two receivers or do i have to purchase a power inserter first before i can use two receivers, thanks

The SW44 switch is an old legacy switch, it can only be used for combining 2 legacy LNB's. (two satellites) And will not work too good without it's correct power inserter, or an old legacy Dish receiver to run it.

Legacy LNB's use two connections, one for the "H"/"L" transponders and one for the "V"/"R" transponders, with two satellites you need 4 inputs at the switch, 2 for Sat A and 2 for Sat B, it will not work for the newer DP or DPP type LNB's, you need a DP44 switch and its power inserter.

For 3 satellites using 3 legacy LNB's you would need an old SW64 switch and it's power inserter, or legacy receiver to run it.

Or an EMP 6x4 legacy switch.
