When you schedule a timer recording for a particular channel eg. 200 and the last channel you were watching when you power off the receiver was 300 When the recording starts it doesn't change to Ch.200 but stays on Ch.300 making the timer recording useless. FF is very unstable as well. Hope these will be fixed in the next firmware update.

dont pwr off the rcvr....jus a suggestion....

Yeah, set it to standby mode. I had timed recordings on three different channels... All three were record perfectly fine.

No It doesn't change automatically. It prompts a recording is scheduled whether to change channel. If you select yes then it changes channel and records. If you are away from the receiver the channel wont change and nothing is recorded. Coders please note. Thanks in advance,

pinwheel hd mini change to timer channel by itself and record and everything but only problem is fast forward and rewind when you try to fast forward or rewind it will for few min then it will say end of file. does anyone have that problem. if so then coder please fix the problem in next file.

Make sure correct time is set

I left the box on the channel that I was recording. I test it to see, but judging from the other responses. It looks like it does not change channels automatically.
