Hey
I was having tons of freezing. I tried to install 1.05. I did everything as I was supposed to. Now I have issues. It was working fine prior just the freezing. Now it looses signal, if I try to set up my switch it acts up. One minute I have s and q then nothing on 110. I can not get 104-108 after scanning. Is my box having issues? I have already switched out my switch. I am using a original dick switch. Please help so I do not waist anymore time.

It could be your p$. If you have signed on with ilikefreezing&[email protected] then I can't help. If you have a reputable p$ then I would first try running a coax straight to lnb to eliminate switch or alignment problems. Let us know

I did have a rep p$ but freezing like crazy. They said fine on their end. That is why I thought it was my box. I did try that and bypassed my switch and still issues. Plus who I am with would not effect my to scan
would it. Plus as I said everything was fine prior to trying to load the oldfile.

as much as i loved the premiums...they are out dated. i had 2, replaced them with a dreamlink hd and a jynxbox. that was a good move. no freezing now

If you are running a nanosat premium se, try the 7.04 factory bin and then load the 3.05 bin. I was having a ton of freezing with some of the later bins and after I tried this bin combo my freezing is down to a minimum. I get a little bit of micro freezing but at least it is watchable. Good luck.

I had a bad feeling about that. I looked at the dream link HD. Will it run SD and what about the overheating issues?

Please ask any dreanlink questions in the dreamlink forum
Thank you

People, if you asked me, iks is on it's way out as the providers have found too many ways to track it and soon you will receive one of their "love letters" and then it's pay up or shut up but either way you pay big bucks. This is only my opinion and not that of the sites... just BEWARE! We need a true N3 stand alone hack which I almost know is out there then we'll see IF they have an N4 waiting in the wings or not. It's all in the money and there's more money to be made in iks than a stand alone file...again, JMHO!

You are on the right track with your troubleshooting. If you bypassed your switches then try swapping around your LNB's and see if the issues jumps to the other sat.

Why are you talking about "love letters" and an N3 hack when the OP asked about an equipment issue?

Why not try a stand-alone fix for other encryption methods rather than try to take on the providers that know it is an issue. PowerVU can be picked up with old boxes and I even get a really good epg on TPC at 99 degree C band with an old coolsat4000--it is an old encryption method and some info from testing is out there on the web (it might even still be 64 bit DES--that should be something that could be cracked). Along the way you would gain a skill set that would be of use in other encryption testing.

All boxes are "on the way out" not long after they are sold, though. Newer modulation methods come out, newer compression schemes too and better satellites with newer frequencies of operation. You design with off the shelf parts for what you have now, and 2 or 3 years later all those parts are no longer made.
