Help with switch setup.

My current setup:

129 *DP dual LNb*on a 33 inch dish.
110*DishPro Dual LNBF & 118/119 circular dual LNb 24 inch dish.
82 & 91 separate dual LNb 24 inch dish.
All above connected to a zinwell switch and on to SV 8000.*

Recently, I carelessly switched ports with receiver on resulting in signal loss on port 1 of switch *(110).

2 years ago,Bev tech installed *24 dish with lnbs for 82&91, DP 44 switch with power inserter. This hardware is still installed on my roof.

My questions:

Can I dump my zinwell switch and move all my sats to the DP 44 switch? Can I even use the DP44 with my SV8000? Should I use the power Inserter?

Your help and expertise is appreciated.

You can't run 6 satellites into a DP44 switch, it wont work with DP equipment, the 82/91 set will fight with the 110/118/119/129 setup.

You could try it as 2 setups, run into a 22 kHz switch, but some have reported problems.

If you run more then 3 LNB's you will need the power inserter.

One way to do this is to dump all the DP LNB's and go with standard, they even have one for the 118/119 setup, then get a Diseqc 2.0-8 in 1 out switch.

Thanks Terryl for your help. Even though I will end up looking like a jackass, I am happy to explain in hopes of helping others.

My 118&119 linear Lnb is run through port 1 of a SW21 switch, 110 goes through port 2 of sw21 and then to the BAFF Diseqc switch. I went up to the roof to change the sw21 to see if it is faulty and found that the 110 cable going into port 2 was loose. Tightened that and all is well.
