The power button on the remote stopped working about a week ago so I have been turning it on and off at the unit. Yesterday the exit button is not working like it used to (have to push down a couple of times to get it to work. Checked bats, brand new. Should I factory default and put 2.84 conversion on again and see if that works or is the remote going? Thanks in advance.

If the remote needs cleaning then pry it apart carefully and wash the rubber pad with soap and water, shake excess water from pad and lay over heating vent for an hour or till dry. Use a q tip and alcohol to clean area where pad touches on board. Put it back together and if anything your remote will be much more responsive. good luck

Thanks guys for the reply's but I have no intension on taking it apart. If I pry it apart and put it back together and it does not work now I'm screwed. So if it get worse I'll order a 210 ilink remote and then try what whonows said.
Red, new bats in there now.

i'm using my old nano mini remote and it works better than the nano2, because the buttons do what they are supposed too.
