Want to use laptop with cell phone for internet connection to box.
I read how to do it a million times here, but I never needed to do it. now I do.

I want to use my Ethernet card in my laptop to connect,and or plug into my dream-link.

Can someone please direct me to the thread that explains it please.

If your cell has a USB cable to connect it to the computer and act as an internet bridge through it to the laptop, then all your do is find the two listed under "Network Connections" on the laptop and do a network bridge through the cell's network connection to the laptops NIC.

Laptop and cell phone have to be on 24/7/365 to keep the Dream-link on the air.

If you can connect via the cell phone to the internet with the laptop but you don't see the connection in the :Network Connections" then you can not bridge them.

To "Bridge Connections", you go to your control panel, and select "Network Connections" find the two connections, (the Cell phone) and the laptops NIC, then hold the "Ctrl" button down and click on the two, this will highlight them in blue, you then touch one with your mouse pointer and right click on it, this will allow you to bridge the two.
