vlc port forwarding help

hi i just got the pinwheel mini and i want to know how to port forward so i can watch at my work. if someone knows how to do it please help me.

You need to log into your Home router and look for port forwarding and open port 9000 both udp and tcp , when you are away from home you need to log into your home network via IP address that is assigned to your home address , It took me awhile to get this working myself , but depending on your network your video may be stuttery and hoping your on a good 3 or 4 g connection . perhaps wifi at work would be best

to get this going I also have a common service port on my tp link wr940n would I set that to dns, ftp, http or ??

That dossnt matter as long as u have 9000 forwarded to ur unit ip
