Pvr section and playing back files

Has anyone had any luck recording a show and playing it back on any of the Pinwheel units , after i have recorded a show , i select File on remote , the recorded list appears , i select play from beggining and all i get is a msg in black telling me the the file has ended ?.. No option to open and view it unless i am missing something ?. :rolleyes:

One user has written a good guide, you are welcome to try this method!

I appreciate your help with the setup of pvr although I had no issues setting it up , The Playback of any file seems to be the issue and i have used 3 different drives , all formatted with linux within box parameters . When you select FILE button on remote you are presented with a recorded files screen , at the bottom you select green button ( play option ) you get another box asking Play from start or play from last position , if you select play from start .........Nothing happens ?. the hard drive light flickers and seems like it wants to do something but no player or picture appears .

I am using a 250 gig western digital in an enclosure , also tried a 16 gig usb cruzer drive with no luck . have you been able to view a recorded show benfica ?

I noticed the same as sg2100. It does not show any picture when play option is selected it says file has ended and nothing appears.

perhaps it is not setup yet or is a bug that has not been addressed, this receiver is still a pup only few weeks old

I am impressed with the unit since early last week , picture quality as most peeps mentioned is fantastic , I am sure the bugs will be sorted out just wanted to throw out what i have tested and hope the right people see what needs to be addressed .

yes. there is a bug.. FTA channel such as 9421 and others not scrambled channels are recorded and played back just fine without errors

when recording scambled channels then error "end of file"

Pvr operation
The pvr functions are not working properly. Coders please note it plays back only non encrypted channels like ch.101 and ch.9421
Other encrypted channels it records and shows in recorded files list but when played back it doesn't show image says end of file. Hope this will be fixed in the next image file. Thanks Coders. latest File 2.2 is allready installed.
