Hey Guys.

I seem to be having a very odd problem with this NFHD. No matter what I try the receiver will not display encrypted channels. I have tried every possible program out there, when using Noi the server connects and and the receiver and noi start communicating, I turn the channel the channel number on noi changes, the countdown begins, the channel number is green in Noi and there should be pic but there isn't. I get the same problem with IKS4Suns, the channel is displayed as 100% health yet I get no pic.

Now. If I turn the receiver to channel 101 or any other non encrypted channel picture pops right in.

I've tried loading files in every way possible, usb, serial and web loader and the result is always the same. Even when it's connected to server and I should have pic the receiver is displaying the connected message but still no pic or sound.

I've also tried removing the 8psk adapter but still no change.

If anyone has any idea what's going on here I could use some help.

I use Nfusion with NO1 and the 25 file. Is that the file you have loaded? I have tried various NFusionHD receivers with the 24 file that many claim to work but I only get the symptoms you have. The 25 file works for me on both providers.

which private server are you subscribed to?

What NOI is showing? Does it connect to the receiver? Can you see it get the channel from the receiver? If not, then maybe the ethernet port on the PC is not set up correctly. Have you checked the ethernet port on the PC to see it has the correct IPs? Has this box worked with this PC before or is this a new setup?

why don't you just use the OcEcIKS v2.0 3758 bin,it's workin good on my solaris no computer needed,

It's not an internet connection, the pc connects to Noi without a problem. Noi and the Nfusion HD also communicate without a problem.

The server or service doesn't make a difference, have tried several servers both Bev and DN.

Noi connects to server and communicates with receiver, the countdown begins and channel number on Noi goes from red to green. When I change channels Noi acknowledges the channel change and again the channel number goes green indicating that it has in fact sent the correct control word to the Nfusion HD. If you read the original post again you will see I've already mentioned this.

If this was a Solaris I would most certainly give that a try but unfortunately this is a Nfusion HD not SD.

Ok guys. I'm not a newbie, not even close. I'm starting to believe there is some sort of hardware issue with this receiver, and it's not software related at all. The receiver can send requests but doesn't seem to be correctly receiving them. Both NOI AND IKS4Suns both indicate that the control word has been received but the screen remains blank, tune to a non encrypted channel and pic comes right in.

Did you make the required changes to your pc's network adapter as per the various tutorials????

btw, the goo3 router bin kicks ass, I would never go back to any other solution

Yes I made the changes to my pc's network adapter.

I was testing the Nfusion HD with a router before goo3 was even released, using NF2RQ-SSSP.

http://www.satfix.net/showthread.php?94096-Project-Noi-to-linux/page10

It worked fantastic as well but shortly after the Nfusion HD started having issues. Originally I thought the problem was related to nf2rq-sssp, or the router I was using, I then began testing the Nfusion HD with Noi and IKS4Suns and the issue remained, for some reason the receiver just will not accept the control words from the server, it makes requests just fine, just cant receive them.

It's just hard to believe that nobody has ever experienced this same issue with the Nfusion HD, especially if it ends up being a hardware issue.

Thought I'd give this thread a bump.

I'm going to do some network capturing tonight, hopefully I can finally solve this mystery.

So I just ran the troubleshooting wizard, during the testing the program receives no channel data, I'm guessing this is part of my problem.

Finally solved the problem! Simply formatted the PC running Noi and it's now working great.
