morning satfix peeps!

wondering a few things this morning:

looking to run ikspvr5.04 file-can a secondary router be used alongside a 2wire
is ikspvr5.04 the best thing to use? i've done a bunch of reading, and I'm really not into noi
looking for basic functionality with epg
only one stb to set up
i have some homeplugs to use if necessary
I'm pretty nimble with computers, software, etc.....


suggestions? answers? tips from those with similar setups?
