No more 647 or 416 Area Code issuing in TORONTO CANADA

hi guys, my ROCKET is DOWN, so i decided to join here.

Hope any body can reply to my question.

Currently if are trying to get any NEW PHONE NUMBER in Toronto then they will not give you any more 416 or 647 area code.

Now they are issuing 437 area Code for TORONTONians. Hope any body know much more about this.

May be I am not exactly right.


Can any experience member let us know whether they are issuing 647 or 437 Numbers currently.

I'm no expert but from the cnac website the projected exhaust date for 416/647 is this month.

Your next Area Code will be Dec 2021.

i am still confuse, is there new area code 437 issued for any one those who are ordering new tel phone line.

i still like to know any one having 437 area code tel number in toronto.

The next time Toronto rappers like Maestro and Drake pay homage to the city by shouting out the area code 416, they might want to include 437.

Toronto will welcome a new area code, 437, Monday. The move comes as the demand for cellphones and mobile devices has swelled, says the Telecommunication Alliance, a coalition of phone service providers.

The surrounding area served by 905 and 289, will get new phone numbers beginning with 365.

Twelve years ago the city introduced 647 and 289, but almost all of the numbers those area codes created were gulped up by growth in the region.

Telecommunication officials have already set aside another area code for Toronto, 387, which will be introduced when the need arises.

Telus is still issuing 647 area codes for Toronto numbers.

so i should accept 437 area code, if any provider is issuing.

hope this area code work fine like 416 & 647 with out giving any problem.
