Jumping back and forth to a few forums , I see many are in the same boat trying to get the dlink dir-601 to work with goo.The actual problem is knowing what to do . Ive read many pre loaded with dales work have gone down to the point they can not even be logged into without doing a factory reset. Any one that has this router working with goo could you please help or point people in the right direction . thank you

If you want to run DD-WRT you will need to add a USB port so you can use a USB stick with the router. It's easy to mount the USB stick then you can use putty and WinSCP.
I should really learn to work with open WRT because it seems more flexible, I just like to us DD-WRT because the features are easy to activate.
