Hey everyone,

I'm thinking of buying the Linkbox 8000HD and want to know if these boxes work okay, with legacy DN LNB's, have a Jynxbox right now, and they are nothing but trouble with legacy lnb's

Also, thinking about dreamlink hd V4...Any thoughts which is better, and has ongoing support?

Thanks!!

Just a thought...
New standard 11.25GHz lnb's vs new box for price.

I could be wrong, but I don't think the 8000HD model can be used for iks. Looking at the pics it doesn't have an Ethernet port.

This is the real Linkbox 8000 HD local, just do a search and all the info will pop out.
Down the Caribbean we have a local box, the Ilink HD 9800 plus, which is the same box.
Since testing is our motto, buy one and tell us about it.

i have the plus and am not happy with the over all performance of this box new file is to be released next week mentioned by perris so we will see what he has done
i rate this box a 3 out of 10 currently
over priced for its current performance
thats my thought on it

Just go for the dreamlink. Linkbox still way behind the performance of this box.

The Dreamlink is a good box but you can't hit the south american birds with it. Linkbox is capable of that and more. In other words you can have 4 lnbs working at the same time with 3 server and the box will move into the right server according to the channel you're watching. Also mix your local channels in the same guide. You can watch HD on both providers. Both are Korean boxes.

i have to agree with patriot linkbox is to far behind
all the bells and whistles but not coded to anywhere near its potential another box way to fast to market
