View Full Version : the causes for nfps server problem

i think nfps is having so much problem and freezing is because there server is flooded with so much user that the server cant handle them all.there is something that they know and they are not telling us.

any thoughts on this?

You would think that would be the problem - people changing ports or IP addresses and overloading them.
You would think that NFPS would give you your port number and you had to stick with it so all the ports are populated equal and not overloaded on one or the other.
Just wondering...

This is still down, I don't get a single channel and there is "NO CONNECTION", so where is the freezing.
It is NOT WORKING as yet and forget about the freezing. Kept changing IPs etc but NO GO !

check your username password one number out and your down

also ip or domain will not work if username and password are incorrect

Saw a post by one of the mods on the NFPS support site. He said that the site has over 66,000 members and he would guess most have donations. So, just taking, for example,a lowball estimate at 50,000 NFPS donations/customers, that is quite a load for most servers. Granted not all are active all the time but I think any server would have a tough time keeping up with that kind of load.

No, I am not getting 101,,,,,,,NOTHING, there is no CONNECTION 1 which I am supposed to see but nothing on any channel.

Can I get a new PW and ID perhaps?

since you are not getting 101 its on your end. Even without service you will get 101.

You don't need to be connected to get 101. You have something else going on. And yes you hijacked this thread. Start your own and you will get help
