Some of my channels are scrambled for days but not all so could someone give advice please? I can get the likes of 135 / 200 / 303 but scrambled on 300 / 120. I have S/Q 70/72 which is as good as it has always been. I have cut the trees back but no improvement so I don’t understand why I get good picture on some channels. I have Rocket, Tutu & Budget.

When was the last time that you rescanned ? Providers move/delete/add channels to different tps on a regular basis .

And it is the growing season - go to dishpointer.com , enter you location/ sat that you are pointing at and you will get an idea if something might be obstructing your signal.

try to recheck your antenna settings, or post your settings like your lnb type what dish are you using.etc.

Some channels will say scrambled, but if you leave it sit on that channel for a minute it will come in.
Otherwise if others are getting those channels using the same p$ then time to do a tuneup on coax and connections. Cut all connections back a couple inches and put new ends. That should fix your problem. good luck

I changed LNB and a length of co-ax but still no differenece. Will get new co-ax ends tommorrow anyway and try some more.

Update.
I have done factory default a number of times now but after a re-scan it comes up on channel 102 not 101 and I missing
105 to 109
122
137 138
299
The 900's 8100's are coming in fine and not scrambled. Anyone any ideas please what I might have broken?

try changing diseq ports .sometime the switch ports go bad and have trouble scanning certain tp like verticle or horizontal .may even try scanning without a diseq switch and see if all channels scan in for you .

Thanks for the help Guys. The LNB is a Cal Amp 150517 sorry but thats all I know, I think this is what they call round isnt it?
Changed to different LNB and diferent ports and can now scan in a lot more channels but still cant pick up some channels like 122 but it is now in the guide. 8100's will scan but are blank so will buy new LNB and switch tomorrow and try again.

Can anyone give some further help please. Over the last two months I have done tthe following and still get missing channels and some scrambled.
Cut down the palm trees.
New LNB
Re-set the dish - best signal is about s/q 70/70 which is were it always was
removed the diseq switch
put new ends on cables and run cable from LNB direct to recv. with only one join.
Changed from NOI to xtreme 4.14 / IKSPRv5.04
Used Rocket / Budget / Tutu
All with no improvement. Could my problem be my Nfusion Solaris, it is a few years old?
Any help will be greatfully appreciated.

Just re-loaded all files and scanned channels. When I scan the scan starts
119.0W Echostar [20/40]
should this not start scanning at [1/40]

Whether you use ilikefreez&downtimerocket or ilikefreezingdowntimenfps it really has no bearing on what channels are being scanned to the receiver. Maybe having a larger dish, depending on your location would help, or at least a tune up on the dish you have.
Start out by checking that the dish is plumb and all connections are clean. No barrel connectors and straight runs to switch or lnb.
Then tweak the dish. You can check alignment without loosening anything simple applying pressure to the north, south, east or west side of the dish and see if signal improves and also check the skew. When applying pressure to dish, wait, as the quality takes a second to respond at the receiver. 70% is a fair signal and should reap all the channels, but 80% may solve your problems. good luck

Thanks whoknows. I am down in the Caribbean and everything has been running ok for a couple of years then couple of months ago started going bad, when trees really grow so cut them back , even had 110 but have disconnected until I get it going correct. Never had more than about 70 s/q. Have moved the dish around everyway to get best signal.

Still having problems here. Just got a new digital sat finder meter and reset the dish to the best signal. Channels scanned in but no 101. Channels like 200 / 909 are great but 105 & 135 shows green on NOI but no picture just scrambled and the red light on the front of my Solaris stays permanent red. Channel 138 is not in the guide at all.
LNB Standard
LO Freq 11250
Lock TP 12370 V 20000
Any guidance as to where to look now would realy help please.
Thanks

Can anyone else give me some help please as I still cant get a number of channels. I bought an accurate digital sat finder meter and can now get some more channels in the channel guide but can connect to ones like 105 just scrambled but 200 & 135 are ok. When I change to 138 the red light on the front of the solaris stays permanently on and NOI stays at the last channel I was on.

I am on LO 11250 & Lock TP 12370 V 20000 and locked on 119

Could someone please point me in a new direction as to what I have done wrong?
Thanks
