Fix for people with signal problems

If you're having signal problems go into dish settings and change lnb power to 18v.
I had signal problems and this worked for me, I'm using a DP44 with Power inserter so give it a try and see if it helps.

and what if they use legacy equipment?

legacy uses both ;)

13 or 18v is for vertical or horizontal tp. Is not a setting when u change the channel this value change. Isn't a static setting.

I've had no signal issues several times in the past, all I do is go into manual scan and change from tp to tp until my signal and quality bars are a solid blue-works every time on my dl hd.

If using a dish nuworks DPP44 switch with a power inserter and you have Dish DP type LNB's then there would be no need for the +18 volts from the receiver,(nor the +13 volts) the switch/power inserter will run the LNB's just fine without it.

Just tested this this morning, had a brain storm last night (or was that a bottle of scotch?) why would there be a need for the LNB power to be on in the receivers menu, if the DPP44 switch and/or power inserter are running the LNB's?
