stuck in boot mode

left the nfusion hd receiver on last night as usual.

turned on the tv and the remote did not work, so rebooted the unit and now its stuck booting up.

says boot then counts up then does nothing and repeats over and over.

any ideas what to do?

i left it off in the time i typed the post and now she is not turning on....maybe the hd card?

Leaved it powered of (unplugged from the power outlet) for an hour or so .

just swapped hd cards that's not it......it didn't feel hot either i changed the fan a few months ago

just getting ready for work........she will sit all day......the darn thing....lol thank goodness i have a back up receiver if she dies

Sounds like bad capacitors on the power supply. I replaced caps on a friends box and brought back to life.

most likely capacitor C10 on the power supply. Have a look at it and see if it is puffed out or has a discharge.

ya c10 looks puffed out......darn thing......well might be a weekend project.....where can i get a new one?
