Its part of the PVR feature..
Seems most people use it to record and not to pause..LOL

From what I've read most of the receivers are never as good as a legit. I currently have the Dreamlink HD and for me its a hit and miss when the PVR wants to work properly. I'm usually ok until I want to FF. Once I FF too fast it usually screws up my playback and I'll have to start over.
I have paused live TV before but again its usually fine until I FF and then it just screws it up completely and I have to go back to live TV.
Some people have had better luck with the PVR function over others. Also the USB drive that is used plays a part in how well the PVR function works.
Hope that helps!

What type of USB is prefered ? External or flash? The USBs specs help out somehow? Maybe speed wise? bump
