Signal gone

Hi,
Turned on the TV and found we have no signal at all. We have had heavy rain and the satelite dish has been in situ for about 10 years.

Can anyone advise me please on how to find out what the problem is????? Thank you in advance

No signal as in S or Q ? Big difference.

I would turn off my recevier in the back and un-plug it from the wall and then i would go to where my dish is at and take off my LNB and look at the coxial end and see if it`s coroded and if it look`s bad at all I would replace the end and re assemble it and the LNB to my dish arm and fire up my recevier and see what happens, if that doesn`t fix your problem and the dish setting`s are correct for your location then for sure it`s the LNB.
I have had the same problem in the past and that`s what Idid worked fine after that.
