Factory reset?

What exactly constitutes a factory reset for a 9600hd? I have several receivers and have never had trouble setting up for NFPS-BUT this one has me stumped New out of box-will not accept latest bin (it has Feb 2012 firmware)-no network setting found-no local options-It right now is uselesS--HELP:tape:

Factory reset is when you choose menu find fs and delete all the channel data from the box.You have to load a bin file to have anything to work with in the box!

Thanks for the reply but what is fs and I have tried loading the Dec 21 file unzilled that is here under files and it will not load with the usb stick

Have you tried another stick?

pull up menu>go to installation screen >push down button under OK on remote .last thing listed will be data reset.as for the network option>system setup(gear) on remote push down button last choice is network setup . remember to get your STB to pick up a IP you will need to turn on the network and reboot it . good luck
