I have a 95 ZJ 4.0, auto, AWD and ABS. will the OTC 4000E read the abs with the right plug-ins or do I need a DRB2 to read it ? also will a snapon mt2500 do the trick ? I have a ABS error that I can't find . thanks

yes the snapon MT2500 will read it and if you have the ABS module, you can get how to repair, I have the old MT 2500 & a SOLUS PRO.

now that I think about. anything you have on the 2500 like manuals they you could share would be great. don't scan anything but if you have them on file . thank you much

I have all the manuals, I can answer just about any ? you have without the manual, for the jeep you need the CHRY 1 plugin with the 12 volt power cable to get codes, on the older jeeps you can get engine codes without a scanner, I don't remember if you can
get ABS codes this way or not but you can try it, key on engine off self test, turn the key on & off 3 times within 3 seconds,
the 3RD time let it stay on and engine light will blink the codes, and if the ABS has this option the ABS light will blink the codes.
on the engine side you should have 2 codes one is no dist reff, it will be code 11 or 12, I don't remember, the last code will be 55,
55 is just to let you know it is the end of the code test, the code 55 will show up like this, engine light will blink 5 times then 5 more.
