removing the cover on the 8000 I see that it doesn't have the removable ls400 8psk tuner. Is this unit compatible with 8psk turbo modulation and do I need to add a tuner.

if so where does it go

I heard that it uses a LS400 or LS500 which is the same board as the Limesat Hd uses.The Sonicview 8000 A-1 boards will Not work.Enjoy
the plus uses that board the hd 8000 non plus uses the board the torpainter posted

Read what you quoted and your post that he quoted The plus uses the board you said, the non plus uses the board Tor posted
the OP asked about the 8000 not the 8000 plus
Not sure if we are agreeing or not, but all E@#Y listings selling linkbox & Plus recievers are being sold with the Ls series of modules, if there is another module that fits then lets make the FTA Community aware.Thanks.
