With latest file you can only "manually" record. No option to record from guide!!

yes you can record from epg using the timer from the epg works rather well hd pixels sd no issues

Manually is the only way I can record as well. The timer does not work.

Try converting linkbox 8000HD plus to an Ilink 9800 and see if it records better. Load Ilink 9800 factory file and then latest file

extend your epg
hgo to channel and time that you want to record your show
hit the green button wich is timer set it up
you must be on the channel and time stamp for it to work
