I am looking to replace my diseqe switch. I have a long run of coax cable over 100 ft and looking
for a good heavy duty diseqc switch that will last and be trouble free and least amount of signal
loss. I replaced the coax and now using RG11, any thoughts or suggestions on a good switch?
Someones answers or thoughts will be helpful. Thanks edlkll

You can't go wrong with a chieta,
Bought 2 three years ago, used 1 so far.

They don't make chieta any more! And diseqc are what they are, not foolproof!

My DP44 seems to work quite well for handling up to four DP LNBs.

... and how much would a person pay for a dp44 ? What if the receiver that it will be connected to is rated for under 700mA ?

Then the the DPP 44 power inserter will supply the necessary voltage and current for the switch.
The switch price is determined by if the switch is used, or new, 50 to 100 bucks is a good range.
But watch out for the clones coming in from China, they are light (not like the good heavy cased ones directly from dish) and don't last too long.
If you have DPP LNB's then you need a DPP switch, or your DPP LNB's may not work right.
