What is the best way to setup the nano2 converted to ilink210 box with multiple P$ to avoid freezing?

Seems I have issues with freezing and changing between sat's.

Unfortunately it's the nature of the best . Certain receivers seem to freeze more than others - nano2/ilink seems to fall intto that category .

I hear converting to a Nanosat premium is a big improvement. Of coure you will need a nanosat remote or a harmony remote after conversion

Convert it back to a nano2, if it shows 1.13 on startup, reload nano2 file 1.29 as a "bootloader" and verify it shows 1.08 at startup screen.

Load nanosat factory file 9.09 using a loader and serial cable, then load sky1.03 vis usb stick and your done

Converted mine to an ilink and don't have the problems that you guys are talking about.Took my nanosat out replaced it with converted to ilink unit and less freezing than my nanosat.Watching as we speak.Could be because the nanosat premiums are as popular as the viewsat ultras were in its day, just my guess. Now the Xfta router and viewsat ultra has been the biggest waste of my money.Have a satzen, nextfta and nfusion. They all have there problems at times.According to what ive been reading D**H is gong to mpeg4 and standard units will not work anymore when this happens.Good luck on you issues.Keep on testing

I think part of the problem is with the server, most of the freezing complaints seem to be with a large server, who had codes stolen, reseller busted...............

The problem is the s/w file. You have to downloaded an old s/w file 1.05 sky, as another member suggested,

and the problem is mostly fixed -- that is with minimal freezing.

Do you know which receiver is being discussed here?

The vast majority of freezing complaints seem to be from those connected to the NormalyFreezingPrivateServer

It would be interesting to get reviews from those using other servers

And may I ask which server doesn't freeze? Will be obtaining that server immediately :)
