hello everyone i have a friend who is looking to get a sonicview of any type and i have never used this receiver.. do all of the sonicviews need the ihub in order to run on the p$ or is there any that have a built in ethernet port or run directly off a computer with a client program like some other boxes..

ALL sonicview will require a ethernet adapter...

where does one find a compatible ethernet adapter....thinking about dragging out my old reciever....

You can catch em on ebay once in a while. iHub, newlink or svlan should work. All though the last ones I seen were way over priced imo. Plus after buying it you never know if you're getting one that is actually working.

I have only had one bad experience with ebay for which I did not recieve a Item at all.
But since then, I try to only purchase items from top rated, or reputable sellers.:thumbsup:
And definetly a Big X2 for hub being way over priced now. But it comes down to supply and demand
