So I got 2 donations from yearly and they were working great but now mysteriously one of my nfusion solaris stb's stopped working for a couple days and I have no idea what can be wrong with it. At first I thought maybe one of my kids had messed with it but that doesnt seem to be the case now.
On NOI it will only connect 1 of my stb's and thats the one in my living room, the one in my daughters room will never work now, need some big help here folks.
The stb in my daughters room shows that it is connected but no picture and no red light on the stb. And nothing in NOI in the monitor tab, however if I run just the stand alone option rather then 2 at a time in NOI I do get the fuzzy screen on NOI but yet still no picture.
Thought it might have been my ethernet cable from stb to router but nope replaced it last night and still no luck. I then thought maybe there is something up with the network info on the stb but nope all numbers are populated and setting is DHCP.

I am pretty stumped as to WTH is going on with it. Is it possible that the box crapped out? Anyway folks any and all help will be very much appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Oh and I have even tried the other options for NOI with no luck :\

Did you try the nonworking access code on the receiver in the living room?

No I didnt but check this out
I wanted to narrow down the problem even more thinking it could be other wires etc etc so I took the stb out of my daughters room and put it in my living room and took the stb from my living room into my daughters room and now both are working?? I have no idea why but I didnt do anything special. But the main thing is that they are both now working! LOL

Sounds like all that it needed was a hard boot

Actually sorry yes I did I could use both codes obviously one at a time in my living room and both worked fine.
But maybe do you think it was just the power cycle that made it work again?

if you tried the one from your daughters room in the livingroom and it still doesn't work reprogram that receiver from daughters room and should be good to go . oh yes try yours in her room and will check you line out .if it works in there then reprogram the one from her room .had it happen before and that's all it took .hope that helps .
