Linkbox HD8000 Plus

I have to say, after a week and a half of fumbling around trying to get this stb to work, I am impressed. Thanks to the people who have gone here before me with this particular receiver as without them I would not be watching TV with it right now. GREAT picture quality, multiple Ps's, FAST scan....the Jynxbox is in the closet. Hoping to take it out again sometime soon, but this stb accurately scanned all the channels the first time, something my JB never did. The picture quality is better on the LB+ also.......using Starbox 109 file...con's?....a little slow connecting, a little tricky to set up....

Do you have an 8psk card in your receiver, ls400?. Could you please post a link to the Starbox 109 file, I'm not seeing it on here. Thanks, just ordered 2 to test

The LS400 is what is recommended for this box. You'll have to search around for the SkyBox file unless one of the mods sees fit to post it. I hear either 108 or 109 work....

whats the diffrence from LS400 and LS500 for this reciever?

Could we possibly get and pics of the reciever internals and of the gui? I'am kinda intrested in the unit if as you say the pvr is up to par, at least equal to the sv 8000 or the dreamlink hd?Thanks.

Skybox 109. The Linkbox file never worked.....

The working file for this unit the 8000 plus its the STARHD_109 file! make sure you guys use the right file for your units since they are 2 diferent recievers, the linkbox 8000 HD regular and the linkbox 8000 HD Plus

the main diference between the 2 HD modules its minimal but they are both very good! the main diference its on the material they are made of, the ls500 being the one made with a little better material and being the newer version thats it!
