i have an old directtv (bell size) dish with lab. my qestion is can i use it and find a bird? if so i have 110/119/129 what is another good bird to get?

I would also add 82 if you are in the footprint as it has the Bev HD channels and also carries NBC ABC and CBS.

also another question. i have a viewsonic receiver but it has no ethernet port, is there anyway to add that option to the existing receiver to get access?

Maybe - depends on the lnb. Which model is it ?
