Hi I have been trying to install the HD Module for this receiver, and I am having problems lining it up, which slot does it go in, left or right? Also I see everyone say's to load the 233 firmware, I am new at setting this receiver up, so do I also have to load a fact file to?

Hi gwrowe, it does not matter which slot you use, just make sure when you set the dish satellite under installation to choose either lnb1 fixed or lnb2 fixed based on the slot number where you insert the jb module. It's preferable to use the 2.33 file, make sure that after you load the file and the receiver boots up to reset it to factory default. Good luck

The tuner is tricky to get in there. You can try tipping at an angle and inseting the F-connectors out the backplane first, then walk the pins into the connector. Some people like myself just take out a few screws holding the mother board down, and about three holding the jacks to the backplane. Slide the motherboard forward a bit and drop the tuner straight in. Put all the screws back and the f-connector nuts/washers. You will be good to go, and not bend any pins.
