Solaris/NOI..UPDATING EPG

I used 2 b able 2 get 7 or 10 or even more hours of EPG.
Then it started to update EPG everytime i pressed GUIDE button..so someone told me to set the EPG setting in menu to MANUAL...and great it did not update anymore/
Problem is now i get only current and next program info...so never know whats on hours ahead of time.
Must be someway to get it back to what i had before.
What do u think guys????:bawl:

press the guide button and than the blue button to manually update the guide, whenever you want to update the epg just repeat the above steps

I DO press the BLUE button when i want to update EPG and it DOES update BUT i only get CURRENT and NEXT programs.
I used to get many hours of guide (around 10 hrs +)
As of now i am unable to see whats on at 8pm if i chk at 4 pm.
Do u have the EPG UPDATE in menu set to manual or auto? If i set it to AUTO...the GUIDE button becomes useless because when i press it, it begins an update instead of showing the guide.

I had this same problem awhile back, the only way I found to correct it, was to do a fact default and load the 1.54.255(255)file again, I have had no trouble with it after that!

Actually both, I know it worked for me, all anyone can do is try it.

i was going to let the op know bv does not update anymore on any nf product.
1-2 hrs spotty at best now by setting on a 12428tp channel.
a person used to get 3-7 days just hitting the blue button when set to manual.
