Couldn't they purchase ppvs then add the cards to server a few hours later?

well I don't think anyone was buying and inserting cards right away... one reason many are down in the wee hours of the day I suspect ... but if the cards have a way of ID'ing themselves it wouldn't matter when they were inserted they would just spill their guts at first opportunity

actually with a little digging you can find about 80% of the channels online in one place or another and a lot of programming not easily available on cable or sat as well. anybody hear that crackle? BAHAHAHA

dual mode would make this not work lol if they did implement it order the ppv on 2 seperit cards and if the output dont match no send the cw :)

But that would create freezing , and if done frequently it would be unwatchable..

This is a totally inappropriate subject to even be discussing in public.

or if its HD ppv brick the ird? LOL as for discussion in "public" on open forums. I seriously doubt ANYONE that actually knows how/is involved in maintaining a card server OR is trying to take them down would waste time here. 'cept for a good chuckle lol

Might be in the CW the server gives out if one PPV can be activated in a range of CW's. Just a guess.

Might be not any of that at all. Might be a much more sophisticated scheme.

Don't be ridiculous; this is being played in Nagra's home court. And after the current game has been on for almost 4 years, Of course they would be aware of everything.

in europe they log the cw's for a movie or whatever and put them in a zip file.
Receivers like openbox can record a .ts stream even if encrypted, then you just use a program to decrypt the movie with the correct zip file. Not in real time, but it is an alternative.I did a test with biss on 30w a couple of years ago, although it is just 1 cw I was able to record encrypted and later decrypt with a cw log I made with the cw.
Maybe the card is just looking for a clock pulse from the receiver it does not see in the card reader?

so it seems the email i got is true after whats been going on for the past two days, this is what my bud had to say,
the PPVs were moved to a new MAP i the card so they could be ID in one block of CHs and that all CHs are now in blocks of CHs,
and that there was one CH in each block of CHs that would send the card ID in the packets so DN could ID the card.
if the boys that run the servers cant find a way to stop the card ID in the packets, this game is over,JMO.

how does someone know that theres a new mapcall on a card that is suposedly not dumped, if the mapcall was possible to new maps that would have been done along time ago, what a crok, DN has moved channels more then once in there past, moving them has never suggested new map, they usually have removed the map to move them in the past, cam id has always been possible to view what the fta's do when there narrowing down possibles, who came up with this stuff ?
