3 days isn't a benchmark for me, so I'll leave if for at least 3 months. The hardly any freezing is a little concerning as it shouldn't have any freezing if it's a new server with no tenants. The server I am using hasn't had any freezing in the last 3 days. But the hook has been set. So good luck everyone.

Seems to be working. I get some freezing but that could be many reasons other than IKS66

The iks66 has been working perfectly for me. the net settings were posted on the site. just enter it, boot, and watch.

ran side by side with NFPS last night (same channel and same software) for a few hours ...........funny thing..........when NFPS froze so did IKS66. Almost minute for minute.

I'm not sure what that means, just commenting.

I'm using the IKS66 free trial right now and all seems to be working. I did get one freeze for about 15 seconds on Fox News, but that was it. NFPS is completely down at the moment, so one can make there conclusions from that.....

The relationship has crossed my mind. I did notice that when IKS66 was up, the same channels that were down on NFPS were down on IKS66. Of course now IKS66 is down and I can't get onto the site that appears to be the official site for IKS66 as that site is having issues. Bad weekend for IKS all around.

Oh... then 66 mite be OK. Wouldnt want to lay down with dogs and get fleas (seems thats been happening a lot lately with certain services)! All I know is a certain server is down at this time, but 66 is up (at least in trial mode). So if there is a connection between the two, I dont see it...

Seems to work fine for 24 hours, went down for some 24 hours (Friday...) and back on Saturday.
Like any other such enterprise, each time it comes back from a 'down', it loses channels: no more 9410 and 9415...

I suggest to wait and see.

Most all of these "New Services" are feeding off one and the same card server.
You can expect similar viewing results on all of them. If the main card server has issues, they will all have issues.
The difference is how well the mirrored server theses services set up runs.
There is a ton of Smoke and " Mirrors" in the game today.
Get on a higher priced server and the load will probably be much less and the freezing issues fewer.
Get on a cheaper server and expect to get what you pay for....
Less money means less working capital. Less money to do server upgrades. Less money to purchase time on the card server for say 24 hour PPV's or Internationals.
Getting the idea of how it works now ??

Ok, now there is a difference between having a website and being on a forum. If you guys are talking about the web forum they are on then yes I am aware of it. When you say "their website" I am assuming you are saying they have an actual website for their service. NFPS and Rocket are on web forums, but actualy have their own official websites. When you say "their website" I'm going to asume they have a website which I was not aware of and Google does not find a "website" for them.

just my 2 cents worth,i have not found any true private server,seems that they are all resellers with names like private server ,you get rockets or nfps no matter what.so you pay and take your chances.if i could find a real private server with 10 tril trouble free .,i would get it.so if your going to buy pay the least amount ,some thing any way.on my 3rd private server now all the same thing,,cheers

There are folks that get 10 or 12 friends together and form a truly private server. You have to take into account the equipment needed for this. Then theres the fact that your dealing with friends... OK, Joe wants cricket matchs but nobody else wants to share that expense. 3 out of 10 want UFC but the rest think the cost is out of line (even split 10 ways). Then Billy wants out after 3 months so everybody has to take up his slack. Not to mention theres going to be the 1 guy who has the account in his name... he takes any chances and is probably the only one tech savy enough to put the system together.

Im not sure if its still on this board or not... but at one time there was a section for 'True Private Servers' that addressed these things.

I've been running on this trial for the last couple of hours, generally freeze free, but the channels available are exactly the same as those on nfps... no difference, (I don't get 118.7 though). I guess it may have some value if the other gateway servers go down or are hit with a DDOS, but I'm not sure if this would be a true backup... more of somewhere else to go if you're not happy with your current P$.
