Hi All,

I am in Ontario (near border), and using a 30' dish which i was previously able to get sat signal back about 5 yrs ago. I reset up my dish, and now i am getting signal locked in at 76% but signal bounce from 0-85% for both 110, and 119. I thought it was because my neighbours tree grew over the years, so i moved it up about 12' and can see clearly over tree, and it continues to bounce. I've read a lot of the threads on here to ensure my TP and Lo's and High's were set according to recommendations, and signal strength continues to be strong, and the quality range still stays bouncing between 0-85% down to 0-75%, but can not get quality to lock in. wondering what anyone would recommend. tried to pass by the switch and hook direct to see if it changed anything, and it didn't. Not sure if this was an accurate test (going direct or if switch is always needed) or if it could still be switch, or if it's LNBs or something else all together?

Any insight appreciated.

Thanks

If the quality is bouncing like that I would replace the lnb.

Swapped LNBs for new ones... still bouncing... switch or other issue?

Could be anything, a bit of water in one of the connectors, a break in the PVC jacket on the coax, a short in the coax, bad coax, wrong settings for the LNB type in the satellite setup menus.

Wrong transponder for the selected satellite. (what satellite are you trying to re-align the dish to?)

Could be the box too. Or dish aim
