please help!! volume cut out problem

hey guys just recently moved and got new dreamlink hd and finally got it up and running . after watching tv for 5 min my volume stops working the only way to get volume working is a re boot. .....i hook up my nano se to see if volume cuts out and it works great ...can anybody help please video works ok and volume cuts out

No information. hdmi , component. optical. Are into dvd, surround sound or tv.

I have the same issue and it has been replaced once already. I also cannot power up at times and have to leave main power off for several hrs to recover...

Mikej1..what is the "it" you are referring to? And also did you read post #2?


PS: Here is a c/p from another post>>found the sound issue i was having to be a hdmi cable or input issue. i changed cables and inputs and the issue with the sound going out went away.

thanks i will try tthe inputs i will bypass surround and go straight to tv .... weird thing is i bring nano se from up stairs and works ok

I have sound cut off issue. But not that often. Power off and on is the solution.

i dont no what to do this is a new dl hd and volume quits every time i turn it on have to reboot for it to work again ...then volume quits again .....swap it with my nano from upstairs and it works fine ...anybody else have this problem or a fix

Are you using the HDMI to the TV ? and does the tv have speakers? how are you connected to your sound system? Have you tried new cable to tv ? have you tried the optical output ?

i have 3 friends with dl hd and all 3 have this issue,file 114 helped 90%,still does it but not half as bad....
sound will cut out,and if you turn it up with remote,the box freezes and needs rebooted...
file 114 works best for all 3 boxes,for them anyways

i have tried new hdmi new rca direct to tv and to surround and have also tryed upstairs were my nano runs fine withe new optical hdmi rca....i am going to try file 114 if that dont work i am going to get a replacement and hope that one is better
any other suggestions

I would try a factory reset, load factory 106 bin, another reset, load 118 bin and factory reset and then use a good HDMI cable.
