I put the dish out side window now. What u mean I'm not giving much info? Also thanks for the feed. Nvm I got 119 and 110 quality and signal to be high. But my objective is to get dish working inside someday. U think the IR reflection coat is stopping it from getting quality? Or maybe was it because the height inside is higher than outside and I need to hacksaw the pipe down a few inches. Maybe the lock and horizontal bars was in the way...

Reread the 3rd post, I edited it, also when I scan do I scan on both 110 and 119 or just one, also do I scan for satellite or network, I forget when I had this thing hooked up the first time.17660

Notice how 119 says it found 5.Echostar 10,11(110.0w)... Shouldn't it say (119.0)??

I'm watching some shows now but... I have a feeling I'm not getting all that I should because the 119 didn't say it found 119, it said it found 110

Wait do I have to have 2 LNB's to pull in 119 and 110? Cause it can only find 110, or do I need to adjust elevation and skew, with my trusty iPhone app?17663

I might have missed something here but I'll ask anyhow. Do you have more than one ln b as one satellite per ln b excluding a low frequency ln b which is meant for 119/118. I guess if I knew what dish you had would help. Information is the big question as was mentioned in post #2

The dish says DirectTV Slim Line, and the LNB is what is in post #10, So I don't know what I got. Do I need 2 lNB's to pick up to satellites?

Someone look at my picture on post 10, and tell me if that LNB can pick up 119 and 110 cause it has 4 coaxial lines running out of it. The one I had my LS ultra working first on was the new Dish Network turbo HD, and this one I got is a directv slim line, I got another dish network that's a dish 500, should I put it on the 500? Cause the turbo hd was my parents and they need it.

Any feed? I now got a dish network 500 dish. I use to just hook one coaxial into the receiver and be able to get both 110 and 119, it seems on this directv and dishnet 500 I will have to put a splitter on the line or something...

You need a new dish and lnb. That one will never work!!

Ok. I read a little further and you have a dish 500 which will work as long as it likes the view through the window. Don't do anything with the slimline as it takes different voltage than the 500 and your fta receiver. And no you can't split.

It is best for you to get a DN dish with appropriate LNBs to catch the satelites you need. If you only want 110 & 119, a Dish 500 with correct bracket would work. If you want more, you should look into Dish 1000.2 or 1000+. Do some research and get the correct equipment. Go to dishpointer dot com, locate your new dish with your position and it will show you how to align the dish. The dish you get may determine your switch setup. All of this would determine the antenna, lnb, and switch setup on your receiver.
