no service on channels

my dish is working but i think i only get a 1/4 of the channels go to some and says service not available and on alot of the channels have done scans but still not working any sugestions

What sat are looking into it ?
Did you enter the p$ info into noi program ?

everything is in noi right but not sure what it is have 27 file loaded not sure if i need more then 1 port im usin 16110 now or if need more than 27 file in reciever i get lots of freezing to then sometimes takes for ever for it to come back on

im assuming that if you get a 1/4 of the channels that you're information in NOI is probably right. It could be a few things but id be looking at your quality to make sure its fairly high, id look to see if the working channels are on 1 sat or if its staggered between your 110 119. If the working channels are all on 1 sat id be looking at the switch, you could always try to scan each sat without using the switch to make sure you're not getting any bleeding. If this solves youre problem and you're using some cheapo switch maybe look at a decent 4x1 emp switch, out of all of em they seem to have given me the best luck (although i use a 13/8 powered switch now) and go from there.
