If I bought a Ford from a Gm dealer and it was still under the factory waranty of course I would expect GM to service it and cover any deficiencies that were under warantee..

Assuming warranty is transferrable (although I believe it is it is easier to deal with if you have purchase info imo) and assuming dates all match(this is where I feel the larger issue is)then I will agree with you.

Warrantees on new cars are transferable.. What I meant by my post is that even if it was purchased from a GM dealer Ford has to honor the warantee. If they dont they are showing bad business ethics..

Know the motor very well have had a slew of VW product in my life.. 83 and 84 Rabitt GTI, 87 Golf , 2000 passat 16v, passat 1.8t, Jetta TDI, and a few bimmers and mercs.. Still own 1 bimmer , 1 Merc and 2 VW's..

what do you think of an 84 320i 2 liter 6 inline, never imported to the NA market.. Brembo brakes, Koni shocks, recarro seats remapped mechanical injection with a larger throttle body, M spec heads and cam, hand bent headers and freeflow exhaust... with a measly 225 BHP at the rear wheels and 883kg on the scales full of fluids. Its my M3 killer...LOL

I guess that the rockets I bought from Nokia must of been used fords not new ones
